Windows 2000 Server (Service Pack 3)

be installed and configured:
- World Wide Web Publishing Service
- Indexing Service
- Simple
Mail Transport Service *
* Pasidium can be configured to
send mail via a separate SMTP mail server
Microsoft SQL Server (SQL7.0 / SQL2000)
SQL Server can be installed on the Pasidium
application server or on a separate server. If you already
have an existing SQL server, you can
select to create the Pasidium database on this server during
installation.
Note: Microsoft MSDE or MSDE 2000 can also be used for your database hosting
environment. Consult the Microsoft website for more information on MSDE.
Microsoft XML4 Parser
XML4 Parser is a pre-requisite for installing
Pasidium. The runtime version of this component can be downloaded
from Microsoft or can be located in the PreReqs folder of the
Pasidium installation media.
Microsoft Office 2000
Microsoft Office is required to implement
the Pasidium HTML conversion service. Pasidium automates office
components via a background service and can convert Word, Excel
and PowerPoint documents to HTML format.
